Amanda Beason
Amanda is the owner of Mildflower and has been a hairstylist since 2008. Creating a mellow and artsy salon is her dream come true. Her hairdressing style is sustainable beauty that is long lasting and enhances natural features of each client. Her favorites are medium to long haircuts, soft layers, creative and dimensional color and highlights and romantic upstyling. Each cut and color is intentionality crafted for manageability, longevity and a smooth grow out.
Amanda has worked hard to master hand painted balayage, strategic color placement, and styling. She values creating a relaxed and warm feeling in her chair just as much a beautiful end result.
When she is not playing with hair, she is home with her husband, four kids, and 2 cats. Her hobbies include any type of craft, watching tv with her husband, singing, and rearranging her furniture on a whim.
kelly froheip
Kelly is an independent hairstylist at Mildflower. She specialized in haircuts, color, highlights, and foilayage. Kelly uses her intuition when customizing haircolor and designing styles, always keeping in mind ways to help each clients hair grow out as gracefully as possible. Along with creating beautiful hair, she has the best smile that brightens up the day and brings joy to the salon atmosphere.
Outside of the salon, Kelly enjoys yoga, reading, and winding down from the day to some binge worthy television with her husband and velvety black cat, Saturn. She is currently not taking new clients while her 2 adorable boys are small, but when her books open up, you will love being in her chair. Follow her work on instagram @kjf_hair.
Courtney lowry
Courtney is passionate about hair and specializing in blonding techniques that create seamless, natural looks. Her expertise in this area allows her to craft beautiful hair that enhances individual beauty.
Outside of her work, she enjoy spending time outdoors with her husband, Mark and daughter, Raelynn. Camping is one of their family’s favorite activities. This hobby allows them to connect with nature and unwind from the daily routine. During the winter months, Courtney an enthusiastic fan of Red Wings hockey and loves attending games whenever she can.
After taking a couple of years away from behind the chair to focus on personal growth and family, she is excited to announce that she is now accepting new guests! She is looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones, bringing fresh creativity and renewed passion to every appointment. Whether you're looking for a subtle refresh or a bold transformation, Courtney can't wait to help you feel confident and beautiful in your own unique style.
jenna cotey
Jenna is an independent hairstylist here at Mildflower. She specializes in Grey Blending, Healthy Blonding, and Dimensional Color. She uses custom techniques curated to your specific hair goals to achieve the desired result. Jenna strives to create a calm and welcoming environment for all of her clients. She is consistently learning about new methods and products to improve her craft.
Outside of the salon, Jenna spends most of her time with her family and long term boyfriend. She comes home everyday to her sweet goldendoodle Maggie. Jenna also enjoys shopping, reading simple books, and cooking. She is often called bubbly in her personality, she loves to laugh, sing and listen to music. Jenna is always accepting new clients!
